From the time Brennen got his first hog, the dream was to make our homegrown meat available to others. In 2024, that dream became a reality as we had our first few hogs butchered at a USDA approved butchery and quickly sold out. Since then, we keep it readily available at our local family owned hardware store where people come daily to purchase pork chops, roasts, bacon, sausage, and so many more cuts. The confidence in knowing where your meat comes from is priceless.

While we no longer have a U-pick garden, the love for growing things never died. Melanie enjoys planting and harvesting vegetables, flowers, and has been trying her hand at canning. It's a family affair as the three littles are involved from start to finish. The farmhouse kitchen often smells of homemade bread and hot meals as the growing family inside eats homegrown meat and eggs from the backyard. Melanie shares her love for bread making with monthly classes for beginners.

At Ferguson Family Farms, we open the farm up in October for FALL ON THE FARM! Corn maze, pumpkin patch, zipline, hay rides, and so much more right here for families to enjoy at an affordable price. Children of all ages get to experience first hand "farm life" and go home with a pumpkin of their choice! We look forward to this event each year as we welcome back old friends and meet new families here on the farm!

Our Beginnings
In 2019, we bought this land to share with our brother. With no huge bank accounts to our name, we decided to find ways to let the land pay for itself. Our first year, we opened a U-pick garden in the summer, a pumpkin patch and corn maze that fall, and started our cattle herd. In the following years, we each found our place amongst weddings and babies, and over time this land has given us much more than a dollar in our pockets.
